Founded in 1992 by Yelena Kouchurova, the Uzori Russian Folk Dance Ensemble has been dazzling
audiences with their intricate dance steps for over a decade.
The dance ensemble consists of a youth group (ages 6 to 14) and an adult group (ages 15 and up), and both groups
routinely perform on stage together.
The dance ensemble has rerformaned at such events as the annual Houston Balalika Society Folk Concert, the NASA American/Russian
cultural festival, the Houston International Festival and the Rice Epicurian Russian Cultural Day Festival.
